It was shortly after midnight that the police were alerted to an apartment in the Handskeryd area in Nässjö after receiving an alarm about a riot in an apartment. A 55-year-old man had been beaten by two other men. The beaten man was taken to hospital by ambulance. The man’s injuries are currently unknown.
Two men are suspected of having abused the 55-year-old man. The perpetrators are in their 20s and 30s. Both were arrested for aggravated assault and the older of them has been arrested. The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into aggravated assault.
