(Finance) – TheEFMA (European Financial Marketing Association)an association of 120 financial groups from 133 countries that works to enhance innovation in the banking sector, has recognized Intesa Sanpaolo ‘Banking Innovation of the Month: May 2022’ for the Skills4ESG training platform, designed to promote the ecological transition of businesses .

Launched in 2021, Skills4ESG’s Intesa Sanpaolo, is in fact designed to foster the dissemination of awareness on ESG issues through a single access point with an offer of dedicated content, news, success stories and presentation of the projects that the Group dedicates to issues of environmental, social and governance impact (e.g. . Advanced training courses, one-to-one training for companies, workshops). Skills4ESG will also be included in the nominations for the Efma-Accenture Innovation in Banking Awards 2022, which is expected to be awarded on November 18, 2022.

The initiative is part of the bank’s more complex ESG strategy to combat climate change which provides for specific loans, including subsidized ones, to support the ecological transition of families and businesses – green mortgages to improve the energy profile of homes, green and circular economy loans, S-Loans to improve the sustainability profile of small and medium-sized enterprises – and an increasingly broad offering of ESG asset management and insurance investment products.
