The murder of the young man is linked to the gang conflicts in the Gothenburg districts Biskopsgården and Länsmansgården that have been going on for ten years. Shortly after the incident, three men were arrested for the crime. Two of them, both 19 years old, are now in custody on probable cause on suspicion of murder, but deny the crime, writes Dagens Nyheter.
The third man, 20 years old, has been remanded in custody for aiding and abetting murder.
The court decides that the two 19-year-olds must be detained with restrictions, which means that they are not allowed to communicate with the outside world during the detention period. One of them is already well known by the police.
