A death after a frontal collision in Sörmland
A man has died in a car accident on highway 57 outside Stjärnhov in Gnesta municipality. Three people were involved in the accident and the other two are being treated for serious injuries, one of whom was taken to hospital by ambulance helicopter.
– There are two cars that have collided head-on. Relatives have been notified, says Johan Wernström, officer at the police’s regional command center.
The alarm came just before 7pm on Sunday night and Södermanlands Nyheter reports that the road was completely closed during the rescue operation. The police investigate the accident as causing another person’s death and causing bodily injury.
