If the jackpot was not won, a person nevertheless became a millionaire, thanks to the code MyMillion. Composed of two letters and seven numbers, it is automatically provided with a grid. With each Euromillions draw, a code is selected, guaranteeing a player to become a millionaire. On Friday July 8, the MyMillion winner was from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

The 230 million euros offered at Euromillions are a historic record and such a sum has never been won in France. Until now, a cap prevented the Euromillions jackpots from reaching such high amounts, since it was limited to “only” 190 million euros. However, this ceiling has been raised to 250 million euros. A pot of 220 million euros was thus won on October 15, 2021, in French Polynesia. During the next Euromillions draw, which will be held on Tuesday July 12, the jackpot of 230 million euros will be put back into play. It can be offered for five consecutive draws, before being won or shared, specifies the FDJ. This explains that the ceiling of this kitty will then increase in stages of 10 million euros, to eventually reach the ceiling of 250 million euros.
