On June 9, 2022, the activist group staged an action in the Texas Capitol, where together with activists Ikiya Collective and the feminist group Unicorn, they hung a 13-meter-long banner with the message “Matriarchy now”, but then in protest against the new restrictions on abortion rights. The event is documented and has been transformed into a unique digital work of art, or NFT – a so-called “non fungible token” – where all income goes to organizations that work for reproductive rights.
“People with uterus require bodily autonomy. We demand our rights, we do not ask for them. Do you not like abortions? Do they not. And yes, did you know? Vasectomy prevents abortions.” The activist group wrote this in a manifesto in connection with the action.
