The hidden danger of toenails: By the time you realize it, it may be too late! Risk of heart attack and stroke

The hidden danger of toenails By the time you realize

There are two specific symptoms that could mean you have high cholesterol. Even if you have nothing, you can improve the situation by taking enough calcium with some changes in your diet. However, if you notice that your toenails are becoming brittle or growing slowly without other lifestyle changes, you may have to take action. Cholesterol consists of poor diet, inactivity, smoking and alcohol, and fat accumulating in the blood.

RISK OF HEART ATTACK AND PALACE

When cholesterol gets too high, it starts to clog blood vessels. As a result, it can sometimes lead to serious complications such as a heart attack or stroke. The worst part is that it is very difficult for you to notice until the situation worsens.

The British Heart Foundation says: “This is a hidden risk factor, so it happens before we realize it until it’s too late.” High levels can cause something called peripheral air disease (PAD), in which fatty deposits build up and clog arteries. Problems in blood flow cause changes in toenails. This is how you can understand the symptoms.

  • Having unhealthy eating habits
  • not exercising regularly
  • using tobacco products
  • Having a family member with high cholesterol
  • Diabetes
  • kidney diseases
  • hypothyroidism
  • Waist circumference greater than 100 centimeters in men and 89 centimeters in women

Symptoms such as cramping, numbness or skin discoloration in the feet and legs are also the first signs that something is wrong.
