According to Ivo, there are no care places in both hospitals in terms of actual need.
– We assess that the hospitals have not planned and organized the activities based on the need for care places. This entails serious shortcomings and patient safety risks, says Marie Åberg, head of department at Ivo, to SVT.
In a comment to SVT, Danderyds Hospital writes that Ivo’s review is welcomed and that it is continuously working on improvement measures.
– We take what Ivo said seriously and will of course take action, says Sven Klaesson, chief physician at Södersjukhuset.
