Muhammed Hasan Narejo, who raised the famous goat, stated that he contacted the Guinness Book of Records to record his goat’s ears.
There is currently no record category for “world’s longest-eared goat”, so it’s impossible to know if Simba’s ears really broke the record. But whether he broke the record or not, Simba is currently a social media celebrity in Pakistan.
However, the long ears that brought Simba fame also create various problems.
For example, the ears make it difficult for him to walk. Narajo collects the ears at the back of the head to prevent accidents. He also designed a bridle that does this job.
Another fear is rival breeders. Narejo says they prayed to keep the goats away from the evil eye.
Narejo’s plans are bigger. It wants to expand Simba and enhance Pakistan’s image as a world leader in goat breeding.
