A vehicle driver in Toronto, Ontario, USA, had an epileptic seizure while driving on the Queen Elizabeth Highway. The vehicle, which went out of control, hit the barriers and went to the median. As smoke rose from the vehicle, the people around did not remain indifferent to the situation. Three passers-by mobilized to save the driver in the smoke-filled vehicle. After a long struggle, the door opened and the 36-year-old driver was removed from the vehicle.
The vehicle surrendered to the flames seconds later. “At that moment we had to get him out, a few seconds later the car could explode. It was all teamwork, we were lucky to get him out,” said Fabricio Lauar, who came to the driver’s aid.
