No more duos of strangers, this July 6, 2022, these are duos of celebrities who clashed in Sri Lanka in the program presented by Stéphane Rotenberg. Episode 1 of this season “Duos de choc” had surprises in store for viewers who discovered the competition between Inès Reg and her sister Anaïs, Théo Curin and her agent Anne, Rachel Legrain-Trapani and her companion Valentin, Valérie Trierweiller and his friend Karine, Just Riadh and his friend Abdallah and Xavier Doumergue and Yoann Riou.
The Beijing Express race starts right out of the airport for the pairs. Running, paddle and first hitchhiking are required. Rachel Legrain-Trapani and her companion argue several times over the way forward, while Yoann Riou takes the experience as a joke, as usual. The pairs Théo Curin – Anne, Inès Reg-Anaïs, Valérie Trierweiller-Karine quickly stand out and participate in the immunity test. This consists of an obstacle course, which seems for a time to disadvantage the disabled sports champion Théo Curin, who is tired because of his leg prostheses. But the young swimmer never lets up and even manages to qualify for the rest of the adventure with his agent.
And even if the French stars go to the other side of the world for Beijing Express, they are not immune to surprises. Théo Curin is particularly recognized by a resident of Sri Lanka who hosts him for the night: “it means that the message is even getting across the world, I am proud of that and very touched. The moment is so beautiful, so incredible, I just want to enjoy every moment and thank this gentleman”, says the young swimmer with emotion in front of the cameras of M6.
The rest of this first episode of Beijing Express – Duos de choc was not easy for the different pairs, since Stéphane Rotenberg released the black flag. This one returned first to Valérie Trierweiller and her best friend Karine. The burden falls on all hands, but it is ultimately Inès Reg and her sister Anaïs who keep it at the end, disappointed. During the final duel, they face Yoann Riou and Xavier Doumergue, who came second to last in the race. It is finally Inès Reg and Anaïs who emerge victorious from the final duel. Fortunately for Xavier Doumergue and Yoann Riou, the event was non-eliminatory. There were no eliminated this week in Beijing Express!
