The council sees three routes to the switch to clean energy: insulation, sustainable generation, and sustainable cooking and heating. Generating energy via ‘sun on the roof’ must have increased significantly by 2030. In particular, the so-called ‘small’ roofs – mainly by homeowners and housing associations – will make a significant contribution. In 2020, another 40 GWh was generated there. In 2030, the yield should be 120 GWh.
