From these starting points, we start the night’s booking event – Kemell goes from the top ten

The NHL booking ceremony will take place early Friday morning in Montreal, Canada. In the event, which starts at 2:00 a.m. Finnish time, seven rounds will be organized over two days, during which the clubs will reserve a total of 217 future promises.

This year’s age group is not considered particularly tough, which brings its own spice to the booking event. The Finns don’t have a particularly tough age group at hand either, although two Finns may go from the first round. A year ago, not a single Finn was booked in the opening round.

It is even exceptionally difficult to guess the number one booking for the current booking event, as there are many views. The most likely top names are Canadian Shane Wright and the Slovak winger who represented TPS last season Juraj Slafkovsky. The order in which the duo will be selected is still unclear, but Wright has to be considered a fine early favorite. On the other hand, some player watchers have said that they even left Wright out of the top three in their lists.

Slovakia may get another player in the top five, because the defender Simon Nemec has been brought up to the top four. Other names in the top five could be the Yankee center Logan Cooley as well as his compatriot, the winger Cutter Gauthier.

For the Finns, there is not a particularly tough age group at hand, although, unlike last year, the Finn’s name was called out already in the first round. A year ago, the best Finn even somewhat surprisingly beat Kärppien in the second round Aatu Räty.

Finland has an event Joakim Kemellin and by Brad Lambert sharp tip throughout, but not necessarily the depth of previous years. During the weekend that booked the Finns, about fifteen with a margin of two players in their direction.

Kemell is most likely the first Finn to be booked at the event. The JYP breed will go in the top ten and possibly quickly after the top five. Ottawa holds the seventh reserve position, and the Senators have been offered in many places as a possible reserve for Kemelli – on the other hand, Ottawa has been rumored to be ready to trade their position.

Lambert is a bigger enigma than Kemelli according to many player watchers. There is skill and skating, but there are also question marks. At best, Lambert goes in the first round, but falling to the second round wouldn’t be a huge surprise either.

The following are Finnish names Jani Nyman (Lynx), Kasper Kulonummi (Jokers) and Top Rönni (Poleaxe).

For the first sixteen teams, the order was determined based on the spring draw. The draw was won by the Montreal Canadiens, who will therefore be the first to reserve their home arena. Montreal is followed by New Jersey, Arizona, Seattle and Philadelphia.

Places 17–31 were determined based on the playoffs, so that the champion team Colorado will be the last and Tampa Bay, who lost in the finals, will be the second last.

The teams have also traded their shifts, which is why some of the teams have several reserve shifts already in the first round. Arizona and Buffalo book no less than three times in the first round, and Montreal, Winnipeg, Columbus and Anaheim twice.

Some may also change shifts during the booking event.

You should also keep an eye on possible player trades, as there may be several big players on the move.
