The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson is resigning – but will remain for some time.
– The process is starting now. I am willing to continue until a new leader is appointed, said Boris Johnson when he began his resignation speech on Thursday.
Many party comrades want him to leave his post immediately, but he intends to wait for them to choose a replacement.
– Several MPs within the party but also several of those who have been close allies with Boris Johnson before who have said that they have had enough of all the scandals, says Tomas Kvarnkullen, TV4 Nyheter’s foreign reporter on site in London.
