Last season, Ibrahimovic earned just over SEK 70 million a year, but he has also been injured a lot and missed many matches. According to credible information in Italy, Zlatan is making a substantial salary reduction to continue his career in Milan, and according to the information, it is now “only” about ten million kroner a year.
However, Zlatan will have a real bonus system, which means that the 10 million kroner grows quickly, if Milan, for example, would get past the group stage in the Champions League, and based on minutes and number of goals scored. Ibrahimovic is now undergoing rehab for the knee surgery he underwent shortly after the league ended. He aims to be back only in January – when he is 41 years old – which makes the agreement more understandable.
