Dakota Johnson loves Fifty Shades co-star Jamie Dornan like a brother
In a major interview with Vanity Fair recently, the actress spoke about the “psychotic” Fifty Shades of Gray shoot. One of the biggest problems is said to have been the creative control of author EL James. Also against certain camera angles and sex scenes she had to fight with her filming partner Jamie Dornan.
Despite the traumatic shooting conditions, Johnson appreciates most of all working with her shooting partner until today very much. In the Vanity Fair article, she says of Dornan:
There was never a time when we didn’t get along. I know it’s weird but he’s like a brother to me. I love him so much. And we were really there for each other. We had to really trust each other and protect each other.
Especially because of the special and sometimes tense chemistry between Anastasia and Christian, the impression could arise again and again that it there was also a behind-the-scenes fight between Johnson and Dornan could have. The actress has completely dispelled this fear herself.
If there’s one thing Dakota Johnson took away as a gift from the Fifty Shades production, it’s her loving relationship with co-star Jamie Dornan. Next you can see the actress in the Jane Austen film adaptation Persuasion, which is due out on 15th of July is available on Netflix.
