What is xQc amazed at now? The problem with the list is that it is aimed purely at the English-speaking world and does not take any non-English language streams into account. As a result, xQc was now faced with a reality check.
The “Streamer of the Year” is honored at the “Esport Awards”. It’s a relatively coveted prize, and it’s been won by Spaniard Ibai for the last two years. Before that, streamers like DrDisrespect or Tyler “Ninja” Blevins received him.
However, this list of nominees for the award is much more diverse than that of xQc:
How does xQc react to these nominations? He is quite astonished when he sees the names of the nominees and searches in vain for himself.
He is particularly annoyed that “Tyler1” of all people is on the list.

How is this list discussed? On reddit, everyone is pretty much in agreement that the Spaniard “Ibai” will definitely win the election and will win the prize for the third time in a row: He simply has too many fans, as he recently proved with a big event.
The fact that xQc is not on the list, despite being so successful, could be due to its penchant for gambling streams, it is believed. That could significantly reduce his chances of being nominated.
This is behind it: The development underlines that there is no longer “a single face of Twitch”, the platform is now too diverse for that.
The English-speaking Twitch is only a part of the global Twitch – in the different countries their own local scenes are developing, with the Spanish and Portuguese-speaking scene in particular growing enormously.
