At 17.36, the Copenhagen Police were alerted to a shooting in the Fields mall, which is located on Amager in Copenhagen.

A 22-year-old man was arrested outside the mall shortly after police arrived at the scene. According to the police, the suspect is “ethnic Danish”.
The police can not rule out that the perpetrator cooperated with others, but there is nothing to indicate that, the police announced at a press conference at 20.45.
The police cannot rule out that this is a terrorist attack, but so far the threat level has not been raised. A major police operation is underway in Copenhagen during the evening and the police are working in several places.
A sold-out concert with pop star Harry Styles was scheduled for Sunday night, a ten-minute walk from the mall. The concert has now been canceled and the audience has been escorted from the arena by metro.
Fields is among Denmark’s largest shopping centers, with over 135 shops and restaurants spread over approximately 74,000 square meters, writes Norwegian NTB.
