A shooting has occurred in the Fields shopping center in Copenhagen and several people are said to have been shot.
– We heard shots and just ran, says Swedish Richard van den Brink who is now in safety evacuated to an arena.
Several shots have been fired inside the Danish shopping center Fields on Amager in Ørestad, writes Danish TV2.
Several people are said to have been shot, according to Danish police.
Richard van den Brink from Stockholm is visiting Copenhagen with his son and daughter to attend Harry Styles’ concert at the Royal Arena.
His daughter and her friend were at the hotel opposite Fieldsgallerian while Richard and his son were at the mall.
– Then we heard shots and just ran, he says to Aftonbladet.
Richard says that it was mainly Harry Styles fans at the mall who ran the time while they waited for his concert which would start at 20.00.
“Shocked and cut”
In the background, sirens are heard firing. He says they ran towards a major road nearby to try to get back to the hotel and his daughter.
– But it did not work out so we are, shocked and cut, in safety at the arena.
His daughter and her friend have been locked in the hotel room.
He says that there are many who cry and are shaken, that no one is allowed to go in or out.
– There are heavy armed police everywhere, he says.
