Now people are rushing for a driver’s license for jet skis – something that it became law on May 1 this year to have to drive.
So far, more than 50,000 Swedes have applied for a driving license and according to the Swedish Transport Agency themselves, it has been necessary to hire extra staff to take care of all the applications.
– We never thought it would be such a high pressure, says instructor William Kjellsson.
– I think it is positive that we get an increased level of education about seamanship, says the Maritime Police’s group manager Frans Dahlén.
