The Christian Democrats want tougher penalties for rapists. Among other things, they want to see chemical castration as a condition for conditional release, 25 years in prison for aggravated rape and life imprisonment for aggravated rape of a child.
– This is another proposal that we present to show that Sweden must stand on the side of the woman, on the side of the victim and not the side of the perpetrator and the rapist, says party leader Ebba Busch (KD).
