AMCO signs an agreement with Intesa Sanpaolo for the purchase

(Finance) – AMCO signed with the Intesa Sanpaolo Group an agreement for the purchase of approximately 1.4 billion of non-performing leasing loans. The transaction In the acquisition, which will be completed by the end of 2022, AMCO was assisted by the law firm Legance.

The wallet subject of the agreement includes receivables deriving from leasing contractsmainly towards corporate customerswith mostly underlying nature real estate.

With this operation, AMCO confirms the will of strengthen its presence in the leasing sector, supporting originator banks in their derisking processes with the aim of establishing long-term relationships. In portfolio management, AMCO will leverage the skills of the Real Estate Department which coordinates the valorisation activities of the real estate assets underlying the leasing contracts.

AMCO then announced that it had undersigned also a contract for the purchase of a UTP single name wallet with a gross value of 120 million, again with the Intesa Sanpaolo Group. For this transaction, AMCO was advised by the law firm White & Case.
