Now the Norwegian club is being hailed.

Mascots are a big part of many clubs’ supporter profile. In the Premier League, many mascots are often as associated with the team as the fans themselves, and the mascots have also become big profiles themselves.
Sat in a wheelchair
The mascots, which are mainly for the children, always look different, and often funny, but still contribute something around the stands. Therefore, the Norwegian club Strömsgodset thought it was time to do something a little extra.
The club, which plays in the Norwegian top league, has long had a blue bird as a mascot, named “LilleBlå”, but when they played this weekend, something was a little different. Instead of walking around the arena, the mascot had taken a seat in a wheelchair.
“Terribly moved”
The aim was to show everyone, especially the fans, that football is for everyone, and the initiative has been widely praised. An employee of the club writes himself:
Are we the first Elite Series club with a mascot in a wheelchair? In any case, this moved me terribly. Football is for everyone ”.
According to the employee, it must have been an employee within the club who herself is in a wheelchair – and who then suggested that she put on the disguise. Now many hope that more clubs will choose to show that football is for everyone – and to do so with the help of a mascot is an excellent proposal.
“Very good. Hope more clubs follow suit, ”writes a supporter.
“Extremely good,” writes another.
“So amazing,” writes a third.
