The future of electric charging could become clearer with the arrival of many more or less successful projects relating to solar energy. The principle is to take direct advantage of the Sun to be able to recharge your batteries throughout the day, rather than having to find a terminal to recharge your car or use a household outlet for its bicycle or scooter battery.

The latest concept in matter comes to us from Indonesia, where a designer, Fajar Ismail, imagined a funny little motorbike electric incorporating a solar panel. baptized Stellar Landcraftthis project is strongly inspired by the Atom Alpha from the Indonesian manufacturer Quest Motors, to which it has added an Ohlins suspension, a new saddle and a screen on which the driver will find all the useful information concerning in particular the level of charge of his battery.
Installed just in front of the saddle, where the tank cap is usually located on a classic motorcycle, this small solar panel allows you to continuously recharge the machine while it is parked outside. Even while driving, it continues to accumulateenergy.
For the moment, this is just a graphic designer’s delirium, but the idea of solar energy as a power source for electric vehicles makes its way. This is already the case with Hyundai, for example, which has installed a roof solar on its Sonata, but also from the municipality of Munich which is currently experimenting with buses also equipped with a solar roof or from a Canadian startup which has developed small autonomous boats equipped with solar panels.
