This change, which directly reflects the new approach of the group in the gear panel, started to come to the 2022 Peugeot 208 and 2008 product range for Turkey as well. The new selector design, which allows a more minimal and useful console structure for the 208 and 2008, will be used as standard in all-electric versions as well as gasoline models. In the new selective design, which will not be alienated by those who know the new generation models of the group, active driving choices are made with a “forward-backward” movement. For the “Park” mode, it will be necessary to press the button, apart from other modes. There are also minor differences between the versions of the new design. While there is an “M” key for manual use in gasoline versions, the Brake (B) key will be waiting for users for energy recovery for electric models. Automatic parking brake will come as standard with the new panel. The gear design also increases the perception of quality with the combination of satin chrome, piano black and carbon-like surfaces for wrist support.
