A 12-year-old boy is suspected of having been subjected to an assassination attempt in Skellefteå. The crime came to the attention of the police in connection with the boy seeking care for his injuries.
A 16-year-old boy has been arrested after the incident and arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. According to the police, the shelter that should have been used is a knife.
– We suspect that the 16-year-old has stabbed the boy with a knife, the injuries must initially have been life-threatening and the boy is still being cared for in hospital, says chamber prosecutor Anderas Nyberg.
