TOP GUN 2. The sequel to Top Gun, in theaters since May 25, 2022, is a real hit at the global box office. What figures in France?

Since this weekend, the film worn by Tom Cruise became the year’s highest-grossing movie worldwide, surpassing $1 billion in box office receipts. In detail, these are 522 million dollars collected in North America and 484 million in the rest of the world.
If we compare with other blockbusters, Top Gun: Maverick achieves a better score than Doctor Strange 2 (950 million dollars). However, it has yet to do better than Spider-Man: No Way Home and its $1.9 billion worldwide. In France, Top Gun 2 is also the success of the year, having achieved 4.1 million admissions since its release more than a month ago. In total, more than 36 million euros were collected on French soil for Top Gun Maverick.
Did Tom Cruise really fly Top Gun Maverick’s planes? ?
As we know, Tom Cruise likes to perform his own stunts. This is part of the cinematographic legend that he has built over the years with famous examples in the various episodes of the Mission Impossible saga.
