– The United States supports these groups and Sweden has not been alone in doing so. Nobody knows what happened. I hope that other political parties call Ann Linde to the Foreign Affairs Committee, otherwise one must arouse distrust of Ann Linde as Foreign Minister, Kakabaveh tells TV4.
Need the support of others
Kakabaveh is asked if she takes the initiative to arouse mistrust.
– I want to know what they have done, otherwise I will take the initiative, yes.
In order to arouse distrust, however, it is required that 35 members are behind the initiative. When asked if she sees in front of her that other parties support her, she answers:
– I hope so. But first I want to see what this means.
Kakabaveh writes in a comment to TT that it is worrying that the government “completely goes against the foreign policy line, which also had broad support in the Riksdag”.
To the Foreign Affairs Committee
“It is worrying that Sweden is yielding to the demands that Turkey, an Islamic dictatorship that lacks respect for human rights and that has violated international law through its illegal military aggression and the occupation of Syria, is allowed to control Swedish foreign policy.”
She emphasizes that the government must now make it clear to the Swedish people exactly what concessions Sweden is making for a NATO membership.
