Ghislaine Maxwell is now sentenced to 20 years in prison – after recruiting and preparing girls for sexual exploitation by Jeffrey Epstein. On Tuesday, the federal court in New York announced the sentence.
Maxwell is also sentenced to pay a $ 750,000 fine.
Prosecutors had demanded that Maxwell serve between 30 and 55 years in prison. Maxwell’s defense had hoped for five years.
