Today, Östersund District Court announced its verdict against Östersundshem’s former CEO, Daniel Kindberg and three other people for serious bribery. Östersund’s FK profile Daniel Kindberg was sentenced for a case of gross taking of a bribe, aiding and abetting a serious bookkeeping offense during, and for aiding and abetting aggravated tax control in 2015, to two years and six months in prison. – I am deeply shocked but not surprised, says Daniel Kindberg to TV4 Nyheterna shortly after the verdict. – It is surreal to imagine prison, Kindberg continues. Kindberg is also banned from eating for a period of three years. He must also repay to the state the amounts he received in bribes, a total of SEK 5,545,000. The verdict will be appealed, says Daniel Kindberg to TV4 Nyheterna. – We have already decided to appeal the verdict in all its components.
