Oslo Pride therefore asks everyone who has planned to participate in or see the parade not to attend. All events in connection with Oslo Pride are canceled, ”it says the press release.
At a press conference on Saturday morning, the police received several questions about the motive behind the shooting. One of the clues that the police are working on during the investigation is that it is a hate crime.
The hypothesis is based on the fact that the London Pub that was shot at is a famous gay bar in the city.
– London Pub is a famous place for gays and there are Pride flags hanging there. The other pub, Per på Hjörnet, is not of the same caliber, but they are very close, says Christian Hatlo.
The police emphasize that they do not rule out anything regarding the motive.
– It is one of the hypotheses, we have not landed in anything, he says.
