The United Nations (UN) announced that more than 12 million people have been displaced since February 24, when the Russia-Ukraine war began.
UN Secretary General Spokesperson Stephane Dujarric gave information about the latest humanitarian situation in Ukraine at the daily press conference in New York headquarters.

Dujarric said, “As of today, four months have passed in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. UN Ukraine Crisis Coordinator Amin Awad said the war has displaced more than 12 million Ukrainians and a permanent solution must be found.” said.
Noting that the UN works closely with the Ukrainian government, as well as more than 300 civilian partners in the region, Dujarric shared the information that 9 million people have been reached so far for support on basic issues.
“We continue to call for the delivery of humanitarian aid to civilians in urgent need of assistance in the eastern regions of Ukraine,” Dujarric said. he said. (AA)
