Unreal Engine 5 instead of RedEngine, but why?
CD Projekt RED is giving up on RedEngine, which it has used in its games until now. As announced, The Witcher 4 is being developed with Unreal Engine 5. The strong reason behind this is that UE5 is more powerful than the in-house engine in terms of open world creation and customization.
