The 200-meter World Championship finals in the long-distance swimming course will take place on Thursday at 20.28. shows World Championships at TV2 and Arena.

The semi-final on Wednesday night went according to Mattsson’s plans. In the interview, the swimmer again referred to his diesel machine and its start-up.
– The annealing worked just fine even tonight. I think it went just fine and the swimming was pretty much the way I planned, Mattsson told Sport.
– The start now may not have been hard, but it went really easy, so I thought I’d let it go now. Even though I shouldn’t watch much, I watched a little bit where the guys are going, so I didn’t bother to start raging too much yet.
Mattsson’s time in the semi-finals was 2.09.04. The fastest in the semi-finals was Australia Zac Ztubblety-Cook at the time of 2.06.72.
There is enough diesel in Mattsson’s tank for tomorrow’s World Championship finals.
“It’s so expensive at the moment that you have to save a little,” Mattsson said.
The strong swimming in the semi-finals gives Mattsson confidence in the finals. He has previously won a World Championship bronze on the way to the Barcelona Championships in 2013.
– Of course it gives good confidence. Yes, I’m going to enjoy tomorrow night. That’s why this is done and rumored, so those moments need to be enjoyed.
