In the first information shared by official sources, it is clearly seen that the production of Focus will end with the facility as of 2025. It is not known at this stage whether the brand, which is working on bringing back the old model names, as in the example of Puma, will continue to use the Focus in its full electric product range. With the closure of the factory in Saarlouis, Ford, which will position its weight on Cologne, seems to open up more room for SUV models here. The compact SUV model, which will be produced within the scope of the partnership with Volkswagen, is also planned to be built in Cologne by 2023.
