Borgsholm municipality is expanding their summer holiday bingo with a bingo card for adults. Should the participant receive five crosses in a row, ie bingo, the prize will be a free book.
– In addition to inspiring adults to read, we at the library also hope that children’s curiosity about reading can be increased as they have adult reading role models in their vicinity, writes the library director Eva Forssell in a press release.
Several different themes on books
On the bingo card, the boxes contain texts such as “choose a book without looking”, “read a book that won a prize” and “read a book with plants on the front”. The bingo card is picked up at one of the municipality’s public libraries. When handing in the badge at the library, a book is lent out.
In addition to this, as usual, there will also be reading aloud bingo for children who do not yet read themselves and summer holiday bingo for children who read themselves.
