The world’s largest freshwater fish has been discovered in the Mekong, the third longest river in Asia, in Cambodia. Dozens of people struggled to pull the stingray, which weighs about 300 kilograms and is 4 meters long, ashore. Researchers placed an electronic device in the body of the stingray, which they named “Boramy”, to study its movements before releasing it back into the river.
