But when will we be able to find the culinary competition? Probably not before the start of 2023. Traditionally, filming begins at the start of the school year, for a first episode broadcast in February.
Season 14 of Top Chef should comply with these same rules, M6 having already launched the castings. It is not yet known if the jury will re-emerge in its entirety, or if changes are to be expected. The last season of Top Chef ended on Wednesday June 15, 2022. Louise Bourrat was crowned the big winner of Top Chef. The candidate of the brigade of Hélène Darroze faced Arnaud of the brigade of Glenn Viel. The chef from Lisbon won 56,190 euros, an amount she intends to invest in her restaurant.

Louise Bourrat is the big winner of Top Chef in 2022. Hélène Darroze’s candidate faced Arnaud Delvenne in the final of the M6 competition on June 15, 2022. She won the hearts of the jury and Red Cross volunteers with 56.19% of the votes against the Belgian competitor who won 43.81% of the votes. Thanks to her victory, Louise from Top Chef won a check for 56,190 euros, which she intends to invest in her establishment. Indeed, the 26-year-old candidate is the chef of her own restaurant in Lisbon, Portugal.
Top Chef is the Wednesday night TV show. The 2022 season started on February 16 and ended on June 15, 2022 with the victory of Louise Bourrat. Each new episode can be discovered on M6 from 9:10 p.m. on Wednesdays. It is also possible to find Top Chef in replay the day after its broadcast on the 6play.fr site. The M6 show has been renewed for season 14, which will be broadcast in the first half of 2023.

Since the creation of Top Chef, the show’s jury has evolved from season to season, with some chefs leaving the show to be replaced by new names from the French culinary scene. For the 2022 season, Philippe Etchebest (blue brigade), Hélène Darroze (red brigade) and Paul Pairet (purple brigade) return to the jury. On his side, Michel Sarran was replaced by Glenn Viel at the start of the 2022 season.
Glenn Viel is the new member of the Top Chef jury. The chef of the Oustau restaurant in Baumanière (Baux-de-Provence) is coaching the orange brigade this year. “He has every intention of blowing it all up, commented Stéphane Rotenberg. He arrived with energy and the will to do very hard”. Glenn Viel explains that he did not specifically ask to join the jury of Top Chef 2022, he was contacted by the production. “Of course, I jumped at the chance, he recalls. It’s a competition that is well perceived, well seen, with the greatest chefs in the world who come to participate. I was welcomed with a lot of benevolence and kindness.”
