According to the rule in force, any minister presenting himself to the ballot and not being elected deputy must leave his functions. Brigitte Bourguignon must therefore leave her position as Minister of Health, which she has held for 1 month. She was appointed on May 20, 2022 in the government of Elisabeth Borne, under the second mandate of the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron.
