The penalty scale for gross sabotage against blue light activities extends between imprisonment for 2.5 years and life, or a fixed term of at least 18 years.
Two of the men who took part in the riot are also charged with violence against an official. The chief prosecutor requests that three of the men be deported.
– It is an extremely serious crime that deserves a long prison sentence that should at least approach the middle of the penalty scale. Then the district court must make trade-offs for individuals, the prosecutor says.
