The images, taken on a beach in France, terrified the world. Due to the storm in Calvados, which is located in the Normandy region of France, 1 surfer lost his life and 5 people were slightly injured.
THEY TRIED TO ESCAPE IN PANIC
The air temperature, which was 30 degrees in the region hit by the storm, dropped by about 15 degrees in a few minutes. While strong winds were effective in the seaside resorts of Deauville, Villers-sur-Mer, Ouistreham and Trouville, the people on the coast fled the area in panic.
