[Mis à jour le 20 juin 2022 à 01h08] According to the results of the Ministry of the Interior transmitted overnight from Sunday to Monday, the participation rate stands at 46.23% or almost 54% abstention rate, following the trend seen at noon and 5 p.m. and doing better than the participation in the 2nd round of 2017. The Ministry of the Interior had indicated earlier in the day that 38.11% of voters had gone to the polls at 5 p.m., less well than the first round last Sunday, since 39.42% voted at the same time.
On the other hand, this figure was up compared to the second round of the last legislative elections : 35.33% of voters had moved at 5 p.m. in 2017. As usual, the level of participation is not the same throughout France. The three departments that voted the least at 5 p.m. were Seine-Saint-Denis (25.23% participation), Moselle (30.53%) and Val d’Oise (30.80%). Conversely, the figures climb to 49.84% participation at the same time in the Lot, the department which had already voted the most at noon. The figures are also highest in Haute-Vienne (47.38%) and Dordogne (46.89%), reports the Ministry of the Interior.
