On Wednesday, SVT Norrbotten reported that the Norrbotten Region will force all emergency nurses at the emergency department in Gällivare to work 12.5-hour shifts. The reason for this is that you are severely understaffed.
The Region is now announcing that it will increase the daily allowance for staff who take more passes, both those who have already booked extra passes and additional ones will receive the higher amount.
– The situation in healthcare is strained, says Daniel Westerberg, acting HR director in a press release.
The increase corresponds to SEK 400 per session, which means that you can get SEK 1,300 for an extra session on a weekday and SEK 1,700 per session on a weekend. In addition to the summer benefit, you also receive overtime pay.
The Norrbotten region usually has a summer benefit every year, but this year more employees are included as parental leave and unit managers.
