Ofpra, the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons, has digitized the letters it sends to asylum seekers. But this dematerialization makes associations that support applicants in their administrative procedures fear additional difficulties. How this new device is perceived by these people who are often in a precarious situation and do not master French well.
After nearly two years of experimentation in the Brittany and New Aquitaine regions, the system has now been extended to all of France except, for the moment, in Overseas France.
