Apple became the first publicly traded company to reach a market capitalization of $3 trillion. However, despite this success, there are also important divergences in the world’s giant company. Jeff Wilcox’s breakup is just one of those important breakups.
LEFT FROM APPLE FOR INTEL
Jeff Wilcox was reportedly the manager of the Mac System Architecture team. Wilcox announced via LinkedIn that he is leaving Apple to take up a new role at Intel.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Jeff Wilcox led the move to Apple Silicon for all Macs, starting with the M1 chip, and prior to that, he developed the SoC and system architecture behind the T2 coprocessor. So he took on important tasks.
Wilcox said he is pursuing a new opportunity and is proud of what he has accomplished at Apple.
Wilcox, who worked at Apple for more than 8 years, started to work as the CTO of the Design Engineering Group at Intel.
