Amersfoort – Whoever walked through Amersfoort today could just be treated to an extensive carillon concert. The Onze Lieve Vrouwetoren was the scene of the exams of the Dutch Carillon School. “I’m not going to count wrong notes. It is especially important that you play with conviction,” said teacher at the Dutch Carillon School Christiaan Winter this morning. “With conviction often means with considerable exaggeration, because the audience is 80 meters away.” Seven of his students took their exams today.
