Girl Lions for World Cup Bronze Match EPN Sports

Emilia Kyrkkö, the goalkeeper who defeated 43/45 times, was chosen as the best player in the Finnish semi-final. Finland will face Sweden in the bronze match.

Finland has lost to Canada at the Women’s Under-18 World Hockey Championships in Madison, USA. The semi-final between the teams ended in a 2-1 victory for Canada.

Finland was the only goal left in the second installment Tilli Keränen. The scorer of Keränen was Sanni Vanhanen and Pauliina Salonen.

The Canadian goals were born in the first and third innings Jade Iginlan and Madison Chantlerin from the pallets. Chantler scored the winning goal of the match around the middle of the final run after a strong run.

Guarding the Finnish goal Emilia Kyrkö there was enough to do in the match. A total of 45 shots were fired per captain while guarding the Canadian goal Mari Pietersen survived nine fights. Kyrkkö was also awarded as the best player of the Finnish team.

Sweden will be met in a bronze match

Finland already has two bronze medals in the history of the World Under-18s.

The World Championships for women under the age of 18 were originally scheduled to be played in January 2022, but the tournament was postponed to June due to corona security.
