A man in his 25s has been taken to hospital by ambulance after being beaten and stabbed in central Gothenburg.
The police were alerted to the incident at 03.30 during the night towards Sunday.
– According to information, two suspects have left the place and have left the plaintiff stabbed to the ground, says Morten Gunneng, duty officer at the police in the West region.
The incident was initially classified as aggravated assault but has in the morning been reclassified as attempted murder.
No one was arrested for the incident at 5 p.m.
