The 64-year-old unnamed man living in Pakistan had been having difficulty urinating for 2 months. The man, who was experiencing great pain while urinating, decided to solve this problem at home. He inserted 18 cm long wire into his genitals. The man who could not remove the wire he inserted applied to the hospital. X-rays taken at the hospital revealed that the wire stretched from the man’s bladder to his urethra. This wire caused compression in the man’s urethra and bladder. Doctors said they could physically feel the wire inside his penis when they touched it.
HAND MADE
The surgeons originally planned to insert a camera into the man’s urethra to examine the wire. However, they could see his flesh, the hole through which urine passed. The doctors manually removed the 18 cm wire, which passed through the man’s urethra to his bladder, with the help of forceps. Paramedics reported that the patient did not have any complications, such as bleeding or injury, due to wire removal.
