At 9 pm on Saturday evening, the police received an alarm that two people had been found injured at Gamleby center in Västervik municipality.
One person has stab or cut injuries and has gone to hospital by ambulance. The other person has been beaten and has not had to go to hospital.
The damage situation is currently unclear and the police label the incident as an attempted murder. The crime scene is cordoned off and the police are looking for suspects and questioning witnesses on the spot.
